Alhamdulillah, I start to understand what my boss wants. In sha Allah, it will be a good journey for us. This is the first time I could deliver something for him with his appreciation based on his requirements.

Seed
Do not worry if you feel being buried or something. If you are seed, you will grow anyway. You will grow anywhere and thrive the pressure. In sha Allah, be like a seed!
I have this experience when I felt myself down. I feel that I need guidance, I asked this guidance but unfortunately, not many people could be your guide or tutor. You need to find the place yourself and do something. It is better to light a candle than curse the darkness!

Good Experience!
Here it is!
I have just read about how someone started his career journey. I read his experience on Linkedin. It seems that it is the same thing that happened to me as well. I do remember that someone said that it is not rejection but it was redirection.
I do remember when I do start my first job, it was an awesome experience. I learned a lot of things. I do many a lot of things beyond my capability at that time. So it was my starting point.
Then, I come into a journey that I felt I did not perform well. I almost fired as I could not perform well I think. Even I was offered to be downgraded into first level staff. I was thankful that time since because of that I tried a different way. I do remember that if you do the same thing you will not have different outputs.
It is a long story short, I have found that I love what I am doing. I do realize that this is the place I should belong to. All the supporting elements are there to support me. Thankfully, Thank you to Allah that we did not His way yet. So, In sha Allah I will keep my mind positive and keep moving forward.

Be Humble!
I do not remember if you have heard this story yet.
Alhamdulillah, I have told you that I have been relocated to headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia right? I have been in KL since then. This is the first story I have started my journey to The HQ.
So, I met this guy, a Singaporean based who is recently graduated from his Ph.D. from one of the best universities in Singapore. He seems to undermine people, but he is nice actually. He taught the same thing that we have not known yet. So we just started our team, we have not known each other yet. I was doing 3 days in KL and 2 days in Jakarta as well, back and forth.
So, this gentleman approached me and then he tried to teach me a lot of things. He mentioned his experience and so on. He seems did not respect me at that time. I could see from this behavior and the way he talked to me. But it is all right, I just honest to him that this is my first job in this new area, I should learn from him and so on.
Until I think he landed on my Linkedin page. He just knows that actually both of us are holding a PhD as well. So after that, he invited me to connect and I feel that he has become more respectful to me. I do not know why. it is maybe because I have a PhD from one of the top universities in the Aviation Industry.
so it taught me a lot that I could do the same thing to others. So be humble and honest to yourself, whether you know or not!

Family is Around
Once you got a family, you will feel a different thing! A lot of things that I have not realized is there. By being with family, in this case, your spouse and your children, you will see yourself as a human being who has a meaning.
Let me put in the simplest example I could have, before having family, I have been working as well. But I do not feel there is a destination of my life, where it could have been? or where would it be going? You spent all the money you have, but for what? it is for temporary happiness. Buying stuff? do your hobby? What I did is I enhanced my car, and everything is about the car. That is all
Now alhamdulillah I learned a lot of things. and I am still learning here. All the processes, on how to raise them, educate them and also working for them. It has been the best thing that ever happen to me Thank you, Allah.
If I may ask your permission to give me the strength to be the best and could implement that strength being the best! Amin!

Grateful
I have not got any thought that I could have such an opportunity working in here.
I have a lot of things as my expectation, le'ts mention salary? career? money? anything that tangible, that we could count, particularly as a material thing.
However, there are a lot of things that I could not quantify for the bigger thing. That is the opportunity to grow itself, the work-life balance, how comfy you speak in English every day, meet international network, boost your confidence as part of the global citizen? many things!
Honestly, the most thing that I would be grateful for is that I could be closer than him. I am still working on how to thank His Blessing and Gifts. I consider myself lucky, alhamdulillah. Allah gave me the opportunity to see the world. An experience which has given me lead to think from different perspectives. You could name it, culture, interpersonal skills, language and professionalism. Those are the things that cannot be quantified, but there is the opportunity
Allah Yaa Rahmaan Yaa Rahiim, please give me strength to do my best and to be the best. Amin!
